Kids Club

The Kids Club at the Marie Sandvik Center is a safe and welcoming space for children in our neighborhood to learn, grow, and be cared for. These early years are formative, shaping values, character, and identity. Our goal is simple: to help every child know they are loved, valued, and important.

Through teaching, interactive activities, and character-building experiences, we help children grow in kindness, respect, and confidence. We guide them in learning how to interact well with others, build healthy relationships, and understand the value of living in community. Our curriculum also helps broaden their understanding of the world through positive, values-based teaching that encourages curiosity and growth.

Kids Club runs year-round and continues to be a consistent place of joy and stability for families. In the summer, we meet four days a week for eight weeks with games, a free lunch, Bible lessons, and weekly park days. During the school year, Kids Club meets twice a week with similar activities that support learning, connection, and care.

What we aim to instill in every child:

  • Every child is important and deeply valued

  • Respectful and healthy ways to interact with others

  • A broader understanding of the world through values-based learning

  • Healthy relationships across cultures and backgrounds

  • An understanding of community and the benefits of belonging

In times of uncertainty, Kids Club remains a steady place of safety, encouragement, and hope. Children continue to come eager to learn and be known, and families are reminded they are not alone.

None of this would be possible without the faithful support of those who give and pray!
