Kid's Club
The Kid’s Club is designed to give an alternative activity for children in our surrounding neighborhood. The childhood years are formative years of knowing right behavior, developing lifelong values, and knowing they are loved and valued. Our emphasis is on the encouragement to bring out the best in each child through teaching, interactive activities, and character-building exercises.
Our Vision for the Outcomes for the Kid’s Club:
-
To impart to each child, they are important
-
To teach them how to interact with others in an appropriate matter
-
To broaden their understanding of their world through value-based curriculum
-
To help them develop healthy relationships with other ethnicities and cultures of belonging.
-
To help them understand how community works and the benefits
The Kid’s Club happens year-round. In the summer, our Summer Kid’s Club meets 4 days a week for eight straight weeks. The Program includes games, free lunch, and a Bible lesson, and on Thursdays all the kids are brought to a park for outside play. During the school year, the Kid’s Club runs 2 days a week with similar activities.
