Hispanic Family Ministry
The Hispanic Family Ministry at the Marie Sandvik Center serves the needs of the Latino community with a focus on hope, help, and healing for families, youth, and children. This growing ministry is led by Pastor Yuri and Lorena Reinoso, members of City View Church in Minneapolis, who carry a deep compassion for immigrants and families in the Phillips neighborhood.
Each week, families are welcomed through a simple registration process to receive food boxes filled with healthy essentials, along with hygiene supplies such as diapers, paper products, women’s hygiene items, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soaps, and other basic necessities that help support stability at home.
Beyond meeting practical needs, the ministry is centered on the Gospel. Pastor Yuri has a strong passion to preach, build relationships, and disciple families to become followers of Jesus Christ. Through worship, Bible study, and personal care, families are encouraged and strengthened in their faith journey.
