Chaplain's Corner

Hello Everyone!

 

My name is Wayne Andersen, and it is my privilege and honor to be a part of the staff at the Marie Sandvik Center!

 

As the Chaplain, I am responsible for helping to develop and then maintain God’s Spiritual Direction for the Center. This will be rooted in the Ephesians 4:11-14 model. My ministry goal is to pour myself into the staff to help everyone coming to the Center to grow and mature in their walk with Christ.

 

As a staff, we emphasize the need for prayer, personal devotion, and holiness towards God. As Chaplain, I promote and develop ministry structures that will impact the surrounding neighborhood and culture with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our goal is to grow as Disciples as we follow Christ, then go and make Disciples, always following His lead.

 

I have spent the great majority of my adult life living by these principles and walking them out through many ministry opportunities. I believe God has great plans for us as a Ministry as ‘we humble ourselves, pray, seek His face, turn from our wicked ways, and God promises He will heal our land/city!’ (2 Chronicles 7:14)
